This designer deadstock silk top by Bonnie Boerer is the definition of theater camp. The shirt has both black and white silk panels, with a cotton/ramie elastic waistband and cuffs. The silks are cut and sewn together diagonally on the front, with checkerboard sleeves to contrast. There are some serious 1980s shoulder pads on this shirt if you love structure, but without them it’d have a cute drop shoulder look too! The front of this blouse has intricate gold and silver beading around the comedy and tragedy masks. Oh the drama! The tags on this piece date the top from 1988.
This shirt is in great condition, new with tags from 1988. 100% Silk. It’s marked a size L and would have a cute blousy look on a L or smaller, but could go up to an XXL for a more fitted look. Please see measurements for best fit.
